I'm a Brazilian cinematographer who was brought up by an Italian grandmother who fled Europe during WWII. The strongest woman I know introduced me to European cinema early on and to her favorites: Hollywood classics. The inspiration she gave me ultimately led me to film school, where I was finally introduced to photography. I fell in love with film and the developing process. Being passionate about storytelling, I grew ever more interested in cinematography. I worked as a storyboard artist, film loader, 2nd and 1st AC during college, and entered the Leica Camera HQ in Brazil to learn more about the craft that enchanted me so. I spent 4 years at Leica, becoming sales and marketing manager for all South America. I moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to attend the Cinematography program at the American Film Institute, and remained in the city until 2017 working as a camera operator for TV shows and narrative features, while DPing short films and documentaries. For the past 2 years I worked remotely for the L.A. office of Carl Zeiss - Cinema Lens division as their Lens Specialist and Sales Representative in Brazil. I recently moved back to Los Angeles and  just wrapped a narrative feature entitled "One of the Ones" shot in both L.A. and St. Louis, as of February/2020.
