Polly Morgan was born in London and worked internationally as a camera assistant before attending the American Film Institute in 2010. Before attending AFI, she worked as a camera assistant and was mentored by former ASC president, Michael Goi. Upon graduating AFI, she shot Sundance feature, The Truth About Emanuel. In addition, she had films that premiered at South by Southwest and Tribeca, and was quickly recognized as a Rising Star by Friends of the ASC. Her recent credits include 6 Balloons, Spinning Man, A Quiet Place Part 2, and TV shows Strange Angel and Legion, the last of which garnered her a Best Cinematography for TV Nomination from the ASC. In 2016, she was named as one of Variety's ten cinematographers to watch. Polly was one of the youngest members invited to join the BSC, and in 2018, she was also invited to join the ASC.
