Jen is a cinematographer and camera operator working in the Philadelphia/New York area. Her work ranges from independent features and documentaries to commercials, broadcast episodics, pilots, and web series. Past credits include “Shored Up” (Doxa, San Francisco Green Festival), a feature documentary about coastal engineering and recipient of the 2014 Hilton Lightstay Sustainability Award at the Sundance Film Festival; “Anderson Monarchs” (Tribeca “Good Pitch”) a documentary about a gutsy innercity soccer club transforming a community; “The Source” (“Best in Fest” LATV; “Best Drama” NYTV) a post-apocalyptic sci-fi series about a dystopian refugee camp harboring a secret link to post-environmental collapse; “Like Sunday, Like Rain” (2nd Unit DP and Camera Operator), a coming of-age drama featuring Leighton Meester and Barbara Messing, written and directed by Frank Whaley. Current projects in development include “Now Return Us To Normal,” a feature doc about the “teen help” industry in which unregulated boarding schools and wilderness programs promise behavior modification for problem youth, and “Plan C For Civilization,” a feature documentary about geoengineering and the unfolding tech response to climate change.
