Amy Vincent has been a member of the ASC since 2002. Throughout her extensive career, she has lensed more than 60 feature film and television shows. Her most famous credits include Hustle and Flow, Black Snake Moan, This Film Is Not Yet Rated, and Eve’s Bayou. Amy started as an intern in a camera department in Warner Bros. back in 1987. She worked her way up as a loader and an assistant, and eventually operated for John Lindley, Bob Richardson and Bill Pope. She also attended the American Film Institute. In 2001 she won the Women in Film Kodak Vision Award for outstanding achievements in cinematography. In 2005 she won the prestigious Vision Award at Sundance for Hustle and Flow.
