Alexandra Henao

Alexandra Henao graduated in Cinematography from the NFTS National Film and Television School UK.

She’s shot sixteen features, numerous shorts, and commercials. Among the features are "My straight son" GOYA 2014 for Best Ibero-American Film, "I am the other" Official Selection Outfest, "El Inca," "3 Beauties" and "Little Stories," all Official Selection of the International Film Festival of Sao Paulo-Brasil and all awarded as Best Film at the Venezuelan Film Festival. "El Rumor de las Piedras" Honorable Mention at the Santa Bárbara International FF and Best Film at the New York Latino FF. "La Noche de las Dos Lunas" obtains the Best Cinematography award from the Venezuelan Academy of Cinematographic Sciences and Arts.

Other Festivals where she has shown her cinematography are Morelia International FF, Miami FF, BAFICI, Montreal World FF, Cinequest, Chicago Latin FF, Bilbao International FF, Tampere FF, among others. She is a DFP Peruvian Association of Cinematographers member.
